What's Happening?

Shipston is under real threat. Developers have submitted proposals for over 1,600 new houses – including 466 homes on the west side and a staggering 1150 more on the east by Fell Mill.

 

If approved, this would increase the size of Shipston by 67%.

 

That’s more cars on our roads, more pressure on our schools and GP services, and permanent loss of our precious green spaces and town character.

 

We are a group of local residents working together to stop speculative, large-scale developments that put profits before community. We're not against growth — but it must be balanced, sustainable, and right for Shipston.

• Hire expert planning consultants and legal advisors

• Fund specialist reports on traffic, flooding and the environment

• Run community awareness campaigns – leaflets, banners, public meetings
